About Us
The weekend of September 10th – 12th 2010 will see the staging of the second Newark Blues Festival, the only event of its type in the East Midlands area.
The Festival will take place in numerous venues across the town with feature events “Blues the Next Generation”, "Here Come the Girls" and “Blues at the Castle” being held in the grounds of Newark Castle on Saturday 11th September.
With top national blues artists performing, as well as established local bands, it is expected that the event will once again attract both a local and national audience.
The festival is again being organised by a group of musicians and music enthusiasts on a not for profit basis with the intention of it becoming an annual event, growing and improving each year.
