Blues the Next Generation - Sat 11th September
Blues Workshops
From 9am to 11:30am free workshops will be held for young musicians and vocalists concentrating on the basics of blues music, from chord progressions through to soloing and improvisation. Attendees will have the opportunity to perform on the main stage at 11:00am.
Blues the Next Generation
From 12pm to 2pm young bands will be performing on the main stage. This free to enter event will feature artists who are all eighteen years of age or younger.

Here Come the Girls - Sat 11th September
A free to enter event featuring two established female blues artists performing on the main stage from 2pm to 4pm.

Blues at the Castle - Sat 11th September
Starting at 5:30pm, the "Blues at the Castle" event features four top UK blues bands, this year having a strong emphasis on East Midlands based artists. Click here for Early Bird tickets.

Blues On Sunday - Sun 12th September
New for 2010 we have seven fantastic bands from across the UK playing a free to enter show on the main stage.

The Mustangs, Wilson T King, Ron Sayer Band, Snakewater, The South Side, The Unusual Suspects, The 49ers.
Please Note:
in accordance with local authority licensing of the venue no alcohol may be brought onto site. Full bar and catering facilities will be in place throughout the day.
