British blues/rock legends Andy Fraser and Mick Taylor will be opening this year's British Blues Awards event with upcoming young artist TOBI.

Newark Blues Festival

The fourth annual Newark Blues Festival will take place over the weekend of Friday 7th to Sunday 9th September.

Upwards of thirty bands will play over the weekend at venues around Newark.

In addition to the venues a series of events will once again be hosted in the grounds of Newark Castle on Saturday 8th September and Sunday 9th September.

Newark Blues Festival is once again delighted and very proud to host the presentation of the British Blues Awards.

Maggie Ross

We are greatly saddened by the news that Maggie Ross lost her battle with cancer last weekend.

Maggie's attitude, dignity and determination should be an inspiration to us all.
